CEMENT DIVISION 

Cement Type GP

Type GP cement is NZ's lowest carbon GP cement with a quality and consistency that make it the first choice for cement for New Zealand. EcoSure has 703kgsCO2e / tonne of cement, 27% less than the ISC 2020 baseline.


Well-suited for a range of uses including domestic concrete, structural concrete, concrete products, mortars, grouts and soil stabilisation.

Cement Type HE

Type HE is a finely-ground, portland cement, specially crafted to achieve higher early strengths. 

This cement is ideal for use in structural concrete, concrete products, domestic concrete, mortars and grouts – and it’s additional properties are perfect for precast structures that demand a higher early strength. 

Fly ash Cement

Fly ash is a fine powder that is a byproduct of burning pulverised coal in electric power generation plants and is used to reduce embodied carbon and improve the workability and durability of concrete and concrete products. 

Fly Ash is mixed in combination with  Type GP, providing an effective solution to carbon reduction and complex design and constructional requirements. 

Silica Fume

Silica Fume, is a by-product of producing silicon metal or ferrosilicon alloys in electric furnaces. The fumes emitted from furnace operation are collected and sold as silica fume. It's used to provide an increase in durability in concrete.
